Hiya! If you're here it's probably because you've visited one of the websites I've designed. There's not much content here yet (insert comment about cobbler's children), but I can tell you a little bit about what I do.
I like designing things. Pretty much every designer is going to say this, and it's up to you to decide whether you agree with her aesthetic. But I specifically like designing things that don't get in the way of the information they present. Flashiness (and Flash animation) are right out. Design should coax the user's eye toward the information you want him to find, in the order you want him to find it. And web design in particular should be standards-compliant and accessible to ensure that every reader receives the information you're presenting in the way you intend it to be presented.
To that end, I also provide copywriting and copyediting services. If you'd like a hand creating or polishing your website's content—regardless of whether you need my design services—I'd be happy to help. I have two years' professional experience copywriting and copyediting, including rewriting a management training manual for a national restaurant chain. As with my design, my writing aims to be pleasing yet functional.
